Getting Started with BigDataCloud's Premium APIs

To access BigDataCloud's premium API offerings, simply create an account and obtain an API key.

Creating an Account:

1. Click the "Sign Up" button located at the top right of our website.
2. Follow the straightforward registration steps.
3. Welcome aboard! Joining the BigDataCloud family requires no credit card or sensitive details.

Important Account Details to Note:

Email Address as Unique Account Identifier:

Your email address serves as an unchangeable, unique key to your account in the BigDataCloud system. Once set during registration, it can't be altered. We recognise this might be restrictive, and we're working on a migration tool for the future. But for now, if you need to change your email address, you'd have to cancel your current account and set up a new one.

Additionally, adding secondary email addresses to an existing account isn't currently supported, though we have plans to incorporate this feature.

Email Address Recommendations:

When choosing your registration email, be diligent. Disposable email addresses aren't accepted. We strongly recommend using corporate email addresses to ensure the best experience.

API Key Propagation:

Once you've obtained your API key, be aware there could be a brief wait before it's active across all our servers. This is due to the API key propagation process. For a deeper understanding, please refer to our earlier article, "What is API Key Propagation?"
